We use the learner’s grade, curriculum, contact details, and school context to understand the academic starting point.

Current marks help us identify whether the learner needs routine support, recovery work, or exam-focused preparation.

The once-off registration fee confirms the enrollment request and allows the admin process to begin.

The enrollment terms outline attendance, scheduling, cancellation, and service expectations before lessons begin.

Registration payment

To finalise enrollment, payment must include the once-off annual registration fee of R240.00 plus the learner’s first monthly tuition amount based on the package and subjects selected.

The proof of payment uploaded below should not only show the R240 registration fee, unless the academy has specifically instructed you otherwise.

Enrollment contract

1. Client cancellation & rescheduling

1.1 Notice Deadline — The “10:00 AM Rule”: The daily cut-off time for all schedule changes is 10:00 AM on the day of the session.

  • Advance Notice Before 10:00 AM: No penalty. The session will be rescheduled to a new slot.
  • Late Cancellation After 10:00 AM: Any request received after 10:00 AM is a late cancellation. You will be liable for the full session fee to cover the time reserved.

2. Tutor attendance

2.1 Tutor Cancellations: If your tutor is ill or has an emergency, they must notify you by 10:00 AM and offer at least two alternative slots to reschedule within 7 days.

2.2 Late Arrival: If your tutor is running late, they must notify you immediately. They are required to extend the session by double the time lost at no extra cost.

2.3 Tutor No-Show: If a tutor fails to attend a session without notice by 10:00 AM, you will not be charged for that session and will receive a 1.5x lesson credit. No cash refund will be issued for this credit.

3. Termination of services

Either party may end this agreement with 30 days’ written notice. If less than 30 days is given, an early termination fee equivalent to the R240 registration fee will apply.

4. Head Start Programme — December tuition

Learners continuing tuition past October are liable for December fees under the Head Start Programme.

If you terminate in November, you remain responsible for 60% of the tuition fees for the remaining period. This excludes Grade 12 learners.

5. Limitation of liability

Boost Learning Academy provides expert tuition but cannot guarantee specific grade improvements, as results depend on student effort and school environment. We are not liable for final examination results.

6. Dispute resolution

Any disputes will first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If unresolved, the matter will be submitted to arbitration in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
